Today in History we presented/recorded our talk show! Our show consisted of an interveiw portion, multiple commercial breaks, and an audience participation segment. During the interveiw portion, the host asked a question and all four of the advocates needed to answer it based on their beliefs. During the commercial breaks, we presented our public service announcements. During the sudience paticipation segment, we got the chance to ask all of the advocates questions challenging their beleifs. Over all I think our talk show was a pretty big success because it helped us learn but also nhave fun at the same time.
In English today, we toom a quiz on Act 1 of Julius Caesar. From reading Act 1 I learned a lot about the characters. Caesar is a bit full of himself but also has some physical ailments. Cassius is thin and serious and is opposed to Caesar ruling. Brutus is close to Caesar and also well respected and well liked. Antony is who Caesar trusts most and always has Caesar's back. Most of the characters in this play are against Caesar in some way, but a small amount are completely for him.
The character Cassius from Julius Caesar reminded me a lot of the ruler Sun Tzu whom I played in my group's public service announcement. Sun Tzu is a strong willed leader, believing in going to war at any cost in order to try to benefit his rule. Cassius wants to take down Caesar more than anything, even if it means brutally murdering him and turning his friends against him.Sun Tzu is like Cassius from Julius Caesar becasue both are selfish and willing to do anything for what they want.
