Today in History we presented our life sized historical person projects. Although I did not present today, I enjoyed listening to everyone elses presentations and had some time to think about how i would present my project based on the how others were presenting theirs. An interesting project that I saw was the project on Benjemen Franklin. I already knew a lot about Benjamin Franklin becasue we studied a lot about his life and saw a play on him in 7th grade, so when this project was presented it refreshed a lot of this information and reminded me of all the things i've learned about him.
Today in english we had Reading Workshop again.
These presentations reminded me a bit of the play Julius Caesar that we are reading in English. The presentation on King George reminded me of Caesar because he was the king of England whome everyone disliked and wanted to get rid of. Molly Pitcher reminded me of Portia because she is a devoted wife and will do anything to prove her worthyness. John Adams reminds me of Brutus because of how he supported the British soldiers in the Trial of the Boston Massacre. This reminded me of Brutus because he sides with the conspirators even though he's friends with Caesar. They are similar because both are willing to side with the "bad guys" for what they beleive in.
